Softly Launching Extra Sprinkles

In the future I hope to use this blog space to write about joyful things. Like how my 19-year-old son went with a friend to the hospital on Saturday and set up Skype so an elderly couple could virtually attend their grandchild’s wedding via web cam. (Isn’t that lovely?) Yes, things like that.

Right now, though, I thank you for your patience as I gradually work on building this site. It’s been a joyful project, and I’m looking forward to adding more dollops of design!

Nothing Sweeter Wrapper

Whether tucked into a lunch box or formally presented tied to a large heart balloon, this is a candy bar wrapper that can be used for a variety of people and occasions.

Cherry-on-top idea

Buy a small metal pail at a craft store tall enough to hold a bucket full of candy bars. Purchase an adorable stuffed animal or doll – or get one out of your closet – and loop the the pail full of candy bars over its arm.  (Or place your stuffed animal or doll in a seated position and place the small bucket in front.) It’s always nice when your favorite doll or snuggly animal brings treats to a party!

To assemble: This size wrapper fits over a Hershey® or Nestle Crunch® chocolate bar. Simply glue all sides of the wrapper with a glue stick. Fold & press to seal wrapper around the bar, then press and seal both ends. Use decorative/zigzag scissors to trim each end.
